This was probably suggested before but would like to see this discussed in more details. I think it would be great to have an option for PVE characters to convert Faction to Gold at a rate of 1:1.

I find it frustrating that I can PVP with my PVE character but NOT use the rewards (Faction) to actually advance this character.

Here's what I'm proposing:

1. Add a new type of Faction. Let's call it "PVE Faction", or PVEF for short. PVE characters gain PVEF, and only PVEF, from winning in PVP Arenas, GvG and HA. PVEF is gained at the same rate as standard PVP Faction. PVP characters cannot gain PVEF.

2. PVEF can be used just like Faction at a "Priest of Balthazar" to unlock PVP skills and items.

3. PVEF can also be used at an "Alchemist of Balthazar" (that's the new part) to buy Gold at a rate of 1 PVEF = 1 Gold.

Pros:

1. This system will allow my PVE character to use Faction (PVE Faction, that is) to actually advance my character. 1K PVEF will get me 1 Plat which I will be able to use at Ember to buy a Skill (or a Signet of Capture).

2. This will make it much more fun (at least for me) to generate Gold for that new item that I want instead of farming, which is really boring.

3. This will make the PVE and PVP areas of the game much more connected.

... and while we're adding that feature, please also allow me to reuse my PVE runes and weapon upgrades. If I can re-spec my character attributes any time I am in town, why shouldn't I be able to also re-spec my armor and weapon upgrades?

One major problem with the whole faction thing is when you have nothing to unlock you no longer gain faction. pretty crappy in my opinion especially when they are making new chapters and skills to spend faction on. Hmmm guess my time winning in PvP/GvG is worthless since I gain no faction for it. regardless

/signed for idea to convert faction points earned in PvP to Gold.

But the rate have to be, for example, 3 faction points (or PVEF, if you want) = 1 gold. Reason: to prevent inflation and save in-game economy.
